Hi again, sorry for the late reply, I'll try to respond to you all in this post.
Krabben1: I've measured it several times and seem to end up at slightly under 108mm, 107.8 or thereabouts. I should probably try to find a better measuring tool before I order the tapered ring tool. Measure once...
Hi, I'm currently trying to install pistons, but the cheapo piston ring compressor I'm using lets go of the piston rings just before they slide into the bore.
I've seen some videos of tapered style compressors, are they worth trying out, or should I rather work on my technique in installing them...
I don't reckon anybody remembers me on here anymore, as the last decade++ I've hardly been on here.
I got in on this forum back in -03 after I bought a -70 that clearly had been rode hard and put away wet.
I considered it a great deal, and I still do.
Trying to fix it was an...
I bought a subframe with suspension, sway bar and steering box a while ago and it's mostly just been laying around taking up space. The frame turned out to not fit my -70 and i harvested all the parts i could get off before it went to the great parking lot in the sky.
Now I'm finally back to...
Metro 2033 is one of THE best games i have ever played.
It was a trip from start to finish. Albeit a cold and terrifying trip..
No other game has given me the same feeling of being immersed in the story, sitting up at night and slightly chilly because of an open window, lol..
I've waited for...
Dunno if the Origin client allows mods.
I heard it was restricted in some ways, but can't remember how.
Played BF since the 1942 demo :D
Loved all the mods to 1942, especially the Forgotten Hope mod.
It was AWESOME.
Strictly russian front maps, it was much darker than vanilla BF.
Oh BTW, i play on PC.
PCs are superior to consoles when playing shooters, both graphics wise and accuracy/speed.
Got me a gaming mouse, a Cyborg R.A.T. 7 that improved my game a lot, the ability to change sensitivity in a big hurry is key to tank driving, piloting, sniping etc.
Plus it has a...
2,193.48 m with the L-96 ;) You're welcome :D
From the roof of the RU hangar, hit a sniper in the hills above "D".
Had a spotter that called in elevation for me. The L-96 has awful bullet drop at that distance, had to aim way below the sight markings, almost UNDER the scope itself..
Nice try. I expect you have some superior experience when it comes to ice roads? I see you live in California by the way.
Driving on ice lakes i don't know anything about. I am just as amazed as anyone when watching the show when those guys are out there on the lakes and ocean.
Just watched it, still not impressed.
No such thing as slowing down at the bottom of a icy hill.
It's all in or nothing.
I never let go when going up icy hills, just lift my rear bogey axle to gain more weight over my drive axle and floor it. If something comes along, crashed truck or...
I do that every winter.. 50 metric tonnes on icy hills all winter.
If he's in 1st gear sliding backwards he's not trying to regain anything, he's just panicked. If it wasn't a rookie, he was reckless :)
Saw a polish trucker do that this winter, not much to do but wait it out until the crash...
