I think there betting on Holley trying to promote EFI as the future and is attempting to catch the market share.
By making a "better Holley" they feel there is still a fairly large market of "Old Schoolers" out there (like me) who still prefer to tinker and tune over plug-n-play, it just doesn't...
Well, I have to admit even though I am a Holley guy, I am intrigued and impressed.
Some well thought out design improvements.
Would like to a see a shoot out with the boys on Engine Masters on the dyno against the Holley before I pass judgment.

Car performed well, had a great time. Those banks sure take some getting used to compared to Sebring.

I've not found many options on rotors for our cars, but I do use Raybestos rotors and have them custom slotted then cryo treated, I think that's about all that can be done for durability.
Finally had a chance to go the the track for some rotor temp testing. I ran the fans from start to finish on three 20 minute runs and my max temp was reduced roughly 400° from 1470° down to 1074° according the the temp paint on the rotors. This puts my rotor temp in the sweet spot of my Hawk...
I have 11:1 compression and have been using both VP racing 93 from the track and Sunoco gt260 100 available locally at the pump. Both seem to work well with do ping/detonation issues.
My biggest concern with ethanol use is with a carbureted engine that sits long enough for the fuel to drain or...
I have found that using a spot weld drill bit like this works best for me.

It allows the removal of the upper panel only.
After adjustment you can plug weld the panels back together.
