Thanks guys, dont worry I'll be back and with more ideas and with a little more experience. I appreciate everyone on the site and all the encouragement and feedback I've gotten, thank you and I'll still be around as I get situated for the next project!
Well I officially sold it and couldnt have...
Well, its been a while since I've been on and the car has pretty much sat covered since. With much regret I've decided to put it up for sale. Hopefully once I sell it and things settle down I can pick up another, earlier 2nd gen and be back even better.
Thank you, I appreciate the compliments. Life happens and it's been on hold for a little bit but hopefully I'll be back at it soon. I look forward to looking at your thread.
I can't believe how long it's been since I've worked on the Camaro or even pulled it out to drive. Last weekend I finally decided too and went to a small show with my Dad. I try to enjoy as many of these with him as I can, life's too short. I walked away totally flattered taking 1st place in the...
It's been a while as I have to many projects and not enough time. Unfortunately I forgot to put my truck in neutral and it rolled back in to the Camaro. It wouldn't have done any damage but the hitch caught the bumper and put a relatively small scrape on it. I think I'm going to pull the front...
I have a 78 so it might be slightly different regarding the fit/quality but I got one of the ABS boards from PUI on Summit. It was about $100 and then I covered it myself which is pretty easy to do. It came out really nice and the fit was pretty good.
Congratulations and I can't wait to see it. Every time I get ready to paint I'm so excited because it changes the car so much and helps that vision start to come together. Good luck!
Thank you, my brothers and I are lucky because my Dad never lets a cool car we build go. Over the years we have bought and sold many a project back and forth. He currently has small block Chevy Miata and turbo'd 73 Z of my brothers and the Mustang and 66k original mile 90 RS Camaro convertible...
No worries John, here is the link to the sender. It's a factory Dodge oil pressure sender and has worked great for about 3 years now.

I used this barbed fitting to put it inline but I'm sure you could do...
Nice, looks to be in really good shape. I kick myself, I practically gave away an 86 GT convertible because I didn't dig the front end on it at the time. They were relatively cheap and easy to find then but the body has grown on me since and they area lot harder to find and the value has...
Ya, the Camaro is twin turbo and probably has 150-200hp advantage the way they both currently sit.
Possibly the best chase scene ever? Unfortunately those are way out of my price range.
I've done this swap a few times and have used the 4th gen Camaro fans. They cool extremely well and are fairly cheap at the junkyard. They also fit extremely well in our Camaro's with a very small amount of trimming.
I'm sure I going to take my fare share of criticism for posting this but I'm super happy to be purchasing my Mustang back from my Dad. I sold it to him about 8 years ago and he has finally agreed to let me buy it back. Here is a picture of it just before I sold it but it now has a nice new white...
The turbo is quite the heater, I could feel the difference in mine with air getting pulled in through the shifter before I fixed the boot. Everything else was sealed and it was crazy the amount of hot air being pulled in through the small hole.
In regards to the fuel lines: Let me double check...
Awesome, I'm glad you were able to get that ironed out. The Megasquirt has a steep learning curve but I think it's well worth it. If your interested my brother makes a a logger we have been testing for a while that plugs in through the serial port and works with megalogviewer. It's better than...
