I have only seen the white one too, but mine is currently yellow, and it has a 'CA' code on it (for California car?). I went looking on Classic Industries for a replacement, and it says the yellow one was used on 70-71 cars before 1/1971, but it didn't mention what's used after that. And the...
My question is this, since my Z car was assembled after 1/71 in California, do I need the GM part# 3979912 (white decal) or the GM part# 3983360 - (yellow decal) on the top left of the radiator shroud?
If anyone has an original '71 Z that was built in California, with a build date after 1/71...

Need some help. I want to replace the ‘exhaust emissions eng tune-up sticker’ that goes on the right top side of the radiator cover on my 1971 Z28. The factory assembly manual calls out GM pn 3992257. The problem is I can find a sticker that looks like what I need, but can’t find one with the...
Nice Z! I look at Haggerty’s site for prices. Also look at Completed Items for that car in EBay. The rust will hold it back, IMO. Documented cars are also a plus. These are getting stupid money right now with no end in sight! Ask low 40’s and negotiate from there.
I know there's a way to do this, but I need your help. I'm trying to locate my previously owned 1979 Z28. I have the VIN. Is there a website out there that will tell you where the car is currently located, or if it's a salvage car? I seem to vaguely remember there's a way of finding out...
My two cents: You may want to search for the item on ebay using ebay's 'sold item' filter. That will give you an idea of what they're going for in the auction/open market. I do agree that repop parts often do not fit properly, you just have to do your homework by reading the reviews for that...
Any thoughts on installing 6X9's on the rear tray....whether it's better to go with a rear tray that has the mesh holes for the sound to come through, or cut holes in the tray and mount the speakers underneath with the grilles on top? I guess it all depends on preference, but just wondering if...
I need some recommendations for a new Amp Gauge for a 1971 Z28. Just wondering if anyone has bought an aftermarket one recently and had good luck with it (not junk).
Thanks.
