Hey guys, it's been awhile since I last posted here but the Camaro is still doing awesome and I'm still trying to keep her clean. I took some more pictures of her yesterday and thought I would share here. Maybe there is a calendar photo in here for this year?
Most of the pics of that work are on page 45 of this thread.
First we started by getting the hood perfectly aligned in between the fenders, then we got the spacing where we wanted it between the nose and the hood.
From there we body worked the fender lines.
Thanks Casper!
For the front accessories I went with CVF Racing. This included a pulley and bracket for both the alternator and power steering as well as a pulley for the water pump. (The Supercharger came with the lower dual V-belt pulley)
The alternator fit too low and hit the upper control...
Weiand 8-71 Polished Supercharger with twin Holley 950cfm Blower carbs.
(Before anyone asked, yes I have bought everything needed for the engine top to bottom to ensure it will both accept it and be healthy with the blower)
My struggle lately...
Cut the hood, don't cut the hood.
After a long debate, it must be done. For Science! The next upgrade is just too cool looking and definitely a big increase in performance.
I changed the top coolant hose and am running dual electric fans and the battery is in the trunk. I am not 100% sure but I think cooling shroud would still fit. (Or require minimum adjustments)
