For myself not real big horsepower hoping for a conservative 8:50-8:70 1/4. Not a race car not to much street driving since I'm the communist north. Want to keep it separate just so I can fill with E and keep the pumps submerged with minimum fuel. 5 gal is enough for a short cruise and back.
I contemplated surge tank also. After noticing my tank corroded heavily inside ( brand new tank) im in the process of building a 5 gallon cell for the trunk with triple 525. I would personally use the hellcat 525 as they are a stock item and probably a lower failure rate. IF doing the surge...
Sorry I just seen this,
I believe for the trucks its in the PE tables and timing, the A/F tables you need wideband and some time unless your on a dyno. Its " tranz protection".
I haven't messed with one but a friend who owns a fleet of them unlocks every truck he gets. Unfortunately he just...
Not for $240 + tax.
One important thing we all forgot to mention is, you should "if possible" hold whatever you decide you want to buy in your hand. You might not like it once you hold it.

Just in case it helps anyone out. This link should bypass the glitch then use drop down menu.
I think the 5.3 would surprise you.
Id like to test that for you but I now have way to much piping and am ity bitty tiny turbo to make it far from fair.
I do remember one of the mags doing a bunch of engine changes in a yellow chevelle back in the day.
Good point on fittings.
I’ll go out into the shop in a bit I’m pretty sure I have a Milton highflow still in the package.
I have the original accuspray gun which is what 3m bought and made it into a removable tip. What a disservice to that gun. The original one was a tank of a gun.
If you can find a Dev Prolite with the three tips I would highly recommend that! A real one though not a fake. Use same gun for base and clear, use the Iwata for primer. Its a little more money but its worth it in the long run. I had no idea how a paint gun could make a world of difference.
