Thinking about anvil fiberglas hood to fille match the gap for nice fit
The stock hood is scare in the fender , frame , munt hare perferc new . Gap up front hare 1/4 inch and 1/8 on the back , near door .
I wanted to know if someone cut or bent stock hood to have 1/4 inch .
I have 3 stock...
I am not woried about the shock chrome shaft , i am more woried about the shock body ( were the seal is ) wen the back suspencion is going to skuish that it going to hit fitting

i need to open up the fender at the door for sure , but peler , rocker , 1/4 , door hare perfect . will try to put hood on and take picture .
i need to open up 1/8 inch each side . but i did put so much time making gap perfect , welding gap , bending fender to have the perfect shape and more ...
i am stuck and discourage on my paint project .
hood gap at windshield section is thigh and i did fit fender doors gap , spend more that 100 hoors on those fakers and hood is thigh .
rocker , peeler , doors and 1/4 have a very nice fit and i di not want to open up fender .
i looking for option...
i did see some video about instaling those . there hare many way to cut and use those cable . maybe i will go for lokar or wilwood ( i think they hare same ) and cut instal outer lining to stock emplacement and use same front cable attachment that came stock on the camaro . so i will make stock...

these hare the correct clavis for wildwood caliper and stock cable hare about 2 inch to long
so i have the idee off buying those and cut stock cable and tig weld a ball on stock cable . stock cable seam stainless .
i have 73 z and did instal wilwood 12.19 4 piston disk break and the cable hook up is ford style . so not to many way to do clean set up , all that i google it poo fix noting clean stock appearance .
i am not for the cut and tie up cable , especially that i will need a safety cheek and it STD...

i have 2 goodmark fender . passager side finish nice but had to fill weld top fender gap , reshape the round section in middle cuting and reweld back fender lip , but it did finish very nice and super...

i did read instruction for holley mounts they tell you there header fit nicely only whit there engine mounts . they also said 3 to 3.5 degree motor angle and that perfect . i have 6 and went down 4,5 but can be lower .... 3,5 would be perfect .

i am instaling LS engine in camaro 73 . there is so many engine mount available . i have a set and they hare to high so i mod them to go lower . but my question is why holey/ hooker blackheat engine mount hare not same thickness rights and left .
my engine is now center in the original frame...
i did see somewhere here some measurement for the clip oldling chrome molding around back glass . internet is very slow here and i can not find those picture . i did replace 1/4 panel so have the gun and clip to spot weld but need emplacement mesure for those stud
it a old post but i am running in the same problem . 1/4 hare ok but i need to shim up the hinge to have trunk even to 1/4 . back window is ok .
on your car did you raise center section or the hinge were to low also ? . my trunk is painted .... i did weld and put body glue to everiting ...

i have 73 camaro and i have a deal on 75-81 hooker long tube headers . most off company liste 1970-81 the same but what hare the frame difference so hookers have different fitment for 70-74 and 75-81 headers .
the 73 motor mount hare the big one the same as 81 or most 73 up gm .
