Early Z28's had 2 bolt mains. Just sayin'. The only issue with the 400 blocks is the cylinders are siamesed' together. No flow between cylinders. With a mild build, it shouldn't make much difference.

I'll bet my cluster was changed out. Need to find a date code on it.

Does anyone have a VOLT gauge in their 1974 cluster? Are they all supposed to be AMP gauges?

1974 Z28 Coupe, 4-speed, HEI, Gauges. I ordered an ENGINE wiring harness from M&H. It has way too many wires. Sent pictures of my original harness and they said it was for a NO-GAUGE car. My car has gauges, and they all work. I have a VOLT gauge, and they said early Camaros had AMP gauges...

Are those HEI wire looms available? Did "Younda" make those? Those are precisely what I was hoping for.

Yep...I still have the four HEI plug wire retainers as well but the green plastic wire looms are all broken of course. Waiting for someone to 3d-Print some up.

Drove me crazy as a kid why the emblem locations were all over the place from car to car on the '74 Z.

Type-LT never had Emblems front or rear. Type-LT w/ D88 Stripes had NO Emblems just stripes. Type-LT without D88 Stripes had fender Emblems. Sport Coupes with D88 Stripes got Fender emblems as well. Sport coupes without D88 Stripes got Rear Foil Emblem and both fenders. Although like this one I...

They are pinned as the originals were. I am not actually sure the fenders were replaced. I just assumed because of the placement of the emblems. But after learning of the slotted right side inner fender maybe not.
