I have checked every where I can think of.....
Can anyone tell me what these rally wheels that I have, originally came on. The code by the valve stem is "B E". They appear to be a 14x6 or 7 wheel and are the 70s style rally.
Jimmac, They are an easy swap, that is what quite a few people do. Some swap them because they prefer the look, Others because it is easier to find the parts for the 68-72 models. Myself I like both of them.
Currently trying to put new carpet in it. Nobody seems to make a carpet kit for a 1974 Nova with the console and floor shift automatic. So I am trying to reshape a 4 speed carpet to work. This is what the floorboards looked like when I got everything out of it.so Solid as/Like a Rock....lol
BillyDean7173,
It is a 74. Pretty much a one owner car. The original owner bought it off the lot in Sept, of 73. In 1999 she put in the paint shop to have it re-painted. Sadly she passed away while it was still there. Her son took possession of it and parked it in his barn, he started it every...
My wife mixes 2 tablespoons of Dawn dish soap and 2 cups of vinegar. then sprays it directly on the weed she wants gone. It works great. If it is an area is somewhere she doesn't want anything to grow back, she adds a good amount of salt.
Also she says apply it during the warmest part of the day...
I don't have any pics of the more common 3 piece trim, but here is the 2 piece that I picked up.
Some were saying that it has to be aftermarket trim, but this is what fits my factory body pins.
The gentleman that I bought it from has worked for G.M. since he was 20 years old and is now in his...
Well, not to resurrect an old thread, but...
It only took seven years, but I found a set of the two piece trim I was looking for.
I guess I can put my vinyl top on now.
Thanks, that is considerably less than I would have thought.
I definitely plan on putting in a one way valve to stop the backflow.
I didn't know if necking down from the 2" to 1.25" that runs down to my house another 10 foot or so and drop what increase the pressure on the 1.25" pipe or the...
Sorry, I wasn't clear on that. It has 2" line coming out of the well and originally just fed the 1.25" line going to my house. 2" was used in the well knowing that other lines would most likely be added in the future.
I had thought about doing that. I just thought someone might be able to give me a close answer though.
With over 500 pounds of water pushing down hill, I was concerned about a standard PVC flapper valve failing and then putting all that pressure on the 1.25" line and all the plumbing that will...
Hey, a quick question for somebody.
I am running a new water line and need to know how much back pressure it is going to create on the rest of my system.
Using the well as a starting point, I am going to run 2" pvc 100' across level ground.
Then it will turn and go up hill 300' (a total rise of...
I liked it a whole lot more back in the day when you could have competition AND sportsmanship.
Teams and or competitors would race their hearts out, but would also loan parts tools or just flatout lend a hand to others.
I saw a set of NOS fenders on seattle craigslist for $900.00 a piece (in auto parts). They were on there for quite a while, but are no longer listed. I don't know if they sold or not. It might be worth while to put a WTB post on there.
