Building a bargain basement camaro to try and dip into the 11s on my youtube channel. The goal is to use throwaway parts and kinda cobble together a truly old school hot rod via Craigslist, trades, marketplace and working parts over. Just scored a 2 spd power glide and a 6 cyl...
It was all over 14.1 at 104.5 was the best and last of 5 runs and that was Shifting at 5800. Tried everything But I guess a 275/40/18 isn't the best tire for what I was doin. Mission raceway is well prepped Im told so it was driver error for sure. 60 ft were 2.36 and up . But it was on a whim...
3:42 and a t10. My 60 foots were atrocious last time (18 inch wheels) and a more handling focused suspension. Ran 104.5 mph and I wont mention my et to protect my ego .060 over 350. (Edited for clarity 2 valve relief flat tops ) The aforementioned heads 1.94 valves. And beehives. Roller...
wasnt really my build ,

It ended up moving out very well. 3 yrs out of that scrap combo before the lifters gave up. 104.5 in the 1/4. Rev'd to 6200 all day. 3750 lbs with me in it. Put together another scrap motor. That was a 2 bolt and .060 over. Ran the same mph. Go figure
I have some spare junk laying around as most of you do. Let's play a game. This junkyard queen will go into a 3100 lb 1980 berlinetta.
