On my '74 350 I'm using the Corvette dual snorkel air cleaner with the rear indent (looks like the last one Steemo listed), with a 2 inch K&N filter. HEI, Edelbrock Air gap manifold, Edelbrock 650 carb with electric choke, stock hood, a new hood pad, and a plastic wing nut just in case.

One of the dome light terminals broke on my 74. Anybody know where I can get one? Eklers, Camaro Central, etc have a repair kit with the terminals and a short piece of wire but they are out of stock.
All Ii really need is the terminal that snaps into the dome base.
Not specifically a 2nd Gen Camaro question, but can someone recommend a TPMS tool for activation, reset, and decode. Needs to at least work for GM and Toyota sensors within the past 10 years. Anything for about $100 or less?
[Mods, you can move this post as you see fit]
Did balancer slip and you THINK the timing is correct?
Pull #1 plug and manually bring to TDC (using the finger over the hole method). Verify your timing mark is where it should be (i.e. 0 degrees).
Who knows. I can't remember yesterday. Probably had meter on Kohms when I wrote the numbers on the scrap paper and missed converting when I wrote that.
Surprised nobody else questioned that.
Been almost a year now since I gave up trying to figure this out and just replaced cap, rotor, coil, and module with a Pertronix Flamethrower. Right away I noticed it fired up faster and runs smoother.
It's fired up every time since. I'm guessing it was the module, but I'll probably never know.
I really doubt it's in the socket or bulb considering it all works perfect in the lane change mode. I ordered the switch from Ricks (Ecklers). No ETA yet, but Hopefully it's the correct part;
Camaro Turn Signal Switch, 1970-1976
Part #:: 33-171290-1
So before I pull the the steering wheel off I'd like to have the replacement part on hand.
Is it the 10 pin, 3 7/8" wide connector? RockAuto list this as OEM / alternate #: 1893588
This morning I swapped the bulbs, cleaned the contacts, and tested all the lights including flashers. Everything is working except that front drivers signal in the fully depressed mode. One other note; it's both the side marker and front signal bulbs that don't come on in the fully depressed...
Thanks guys.
When the front light does not blink, the dash light does not blink.
When the front light blinks, the dash light blinks.
I'll bet that terminal on the switch has some corrosion.
But why does it work correctly when I use the lane change feature? Is the contact area different on the cam?
Need some help diagnosing this...
My drivers side front signal does not work (most times) when I click it down. It does work when I use the lane change feature. Occasionally, after using the lane change feature, it will work until I turn it off. Next time, no worky. I've been able to reproduce...
Here's what I got. All 5 pieces. Original from my 74. The driver side is dull and needs polishing.
Like I said, it all needs a little resto and polish if you want it to look new.
$125 plus shipping.
Package would be 48"x24"x5" and about 5 lbs.
My zip is 11756. If you want it, I'll let you...
