I'm wanting to do this swap but have been told several times the 200 won't survive behind even the mildest 350 without having it professionally built. The best man for the job charges over $4k to build it but guarantees it won't fail.

I would agree. I think I still did just fine. They are in pretty nice condition overal. Just wish they had the baffles in them. It appears based on the numbers in them that they are in fact 1970 valve covers. So I think I'll just let the baffle issue go. I got my money's worth.

I paid $125 for them so I'm not out much just feel like the baffles need to be in there before being used. Can the baffles be purchased separately?

A local guy has several sets for sale he just wants the room and just wants a fair offer. Most are 327 corvette heads but there's 2 sets of 1967 Z28 302 heads in there too. Just want to give the guy an offer that's fair for both parties. Just say price per head.
