Yes sir. I couldn't agree more that's why I'm on here trying to do some research and found this thread. I'm going to hook up an external tach and re-check my numbers to see how they match up to Sunny Z/28s.
Going to be following this thread closely. I'm running into the same thing with my 73 Z28 4 speed. Rarely run it over 70MPH since I'm at 5K RPM in 4th gear around 65-70MPH.
Who's your 'go to' mechanic in Northern Virginia? My car starts and runs fine but dies when in idle -- even after driving straight for 45 minutes. I'm not well versed in the art of carburetor ninjitsu so I'm looking for some help. Thanks in advance!
