1971 Camaro Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement

I recently received a replacement intermediate steering shaft for my 71 Camaro. It is much shorter than the one I removed. I read that these can be extended to fit, by sliding the double D shaft, but I was not able to do this by hand. Anyone run into this or know how to extend these...

    1971 Camaro Z28 LS Swap

Hello, I am thinking of doing a LS swap on a 1971 Camaro Z28 and I was wondering how I should tackle the accessory drive, Will I use the stock Power steering pump and/or A/C unit or will I need to use modern stuff, or would it be better just to paint and rebuild and bore the old 350 for...

Greetings, font of all knowledge. This is possibly one of the most difficult posts I've ever had to write online, and I've been an IT techie for over 35 years. I'm from the UK originally, although these days live in the sunny Mediterranean. I had a very sick (in the literal, dictionary sense)...

Need Help Lower Door Panel 1971 Camaro

On the back of the plastic lower door panel, there are eleven of what look like #8 x 3/4" wafer head phillips self piercing screws. The head diameter is about 9/16". They screw into nuts that are attached to the door panel. I have two problems: 1) I don't know what they are for. I assume...

WANTED: Car Jack Cover for 1971 Camaro

My original cover disappeared years ago. As I remember, the cover is made of plastic like material and is the shape of a guitar. It covers the main (lifting) part of the car jack and extends up and down the length of the jack several inches. The spare tire sits on top of it.
