1981 Camaro Berlinetta black or gold?

Hi guys, So I recently began rebuilding a 1981 Camaro Berlinetta. I have pulled the interior (beige and brown) and the engine and sent the car to the body shop to get painted. I have narrowed my paint choices down to either black or gold. Any thoughts on which one I should choose?

    Picking an Engine Rebuild Kit

Hi, I am currently building a 400SB to put In my 1985 Camaro Berlinetta. My question is what rebuild kit should I use, I currently have racing pistons so I don't need those included. Also what camshaft and wheel should I use I am only building it as a fun street car. Thanks in advance

    Who else has done/tried this?

I have a 4.8L iron truck block I pulled out of my 02 GMC Sierra. I've read you can bore the cylinders to 3.898" and fit LS1/LS6 pistons. The crank is also small so I would find a 3.622" from another block (like a 5.3 or LSx from the yard). Effectively turning this engine into a 5.7L (346ci)...

Post pictures of your camaros, how and why you got them and what your plans are.

Hey guys, I'm new to this site. I recently bought my first car, a 79 Camaro Berlinetta. I bought it about 3 months ago for $1,400. I spent a month out of town digging trenches for a cable company to buy it. I found my Camaro on Craigslist looking for any classic Chevy with a small block and a...

1981 "G" machine soon to be "G-1/2" machine

This is how my car currently sits. It will sit lower once I fabricate fender flares for all for corners. Then I'll lower it about 2 inches on all four corners. That will make due until i get time and money to make a full frame and custom suspension setup.
