I need a HEI ignition module and I am confused when I saw how many choices are available. I am looking for a reliable module that is hopefully manufactured in the USA and not China! A friend suggested genuine GM or Standard Ignition brand. What brand or brands have you had a good experience with?
Hey all. Been reading a ton but first time posting. I know this issue has been brought up and I've read all those posts, still at a loss. Hopefully I'm doing this right.

Hello All,
I am trying to plan out my spring game plan for my 1978 Camaro z28. One of those ideas is that it might be worth it is changing to the MSD 6A control box and changing out my current stock distributor. My problem is I don't know any other 2nd gen camaro people to see if changing to MSD...
So I was driving down the road and the car randomly cut off. At first I thought It vapor locked as I thought it did the day before, but now the car wont even crank. I have taken the starter off and it passed the test. The battery is getting enough voltage as well. When I turn the key it draws...
Hi All,
Hope this thread topic is in the correct place..
I have a '72 Camaro that currently has a 1969 SBC 350 engine. The motor has a points distributor and before it starts giving me trouble, I was looking to upgrade to an electric distributor. I was looking for something that would basically...

so awhile back I bought my first car a 80 csmaro with a fresh block and some odds and ends for 300$ and now I'm trying to drop in a different 350 that I pulled from a van so I can race it in 24 hours of lemons and then daily drive it, is there a way to make a minimalist wiring harness that can...

The syncronizer enables the ignition and fuel injection system to distinguish between the exhaust and compression stroke. This is only nescesary for sequential fuel injection and/or coil per plug ignition. Note the half moon shaped shaft at the top of the syncronizer. As this rotates, it...

Note syncronizer installed in lieu of distributor. This device tells the fuel injection and ignition controller whether the engine is on its exhaust or compression stroke allowing control of an individual coil-per-cylinder ignition and for sequential fuel injection. The device works by using a...
