| Checking trim height allows you to measure your car and determine if the ride height is correct.
This is the designed spec for the car. Often times it's nice to check these dimensions if you've
replaced the springs on your car and the front end is 10 inches up in the air - you'd check the
trim height to see if you are using the correct spring. It's also interesting to note these cars
are designed to be slightly higher in the front than the back.
This table is based on 1970 (71 - 73 similar), 1974 (75 - 77 similar) and 1978 (79 - 81 similar) information. Also note, these specs assume the correct tires are installed on the car. These measurements are constant with all optional equipment installed on the car (in otherwords, installing a big block doesn't mean the front end would sag lower than any other car would). You will notice the Z28 does sit lower than the standard model car. Altering the tires will alter your measurements, but this information should get you in the ballpark. |

Shipping Weight - Vehicle is built to spec including being filled to coolant capacity and 3
gallons of gas.

All heights checked with tires inflated to correct pressure.
