this is the graph from Ford (it's in that first link)

right now (no tune yet, on stock 220 Pirellis) I can get out of the hole pretty good....sub 2.0 60 foot time, but that's leaving at idle - there is just enough turbo lag to prevent blazing the tires

ideally I'd like to leave right at 2200 rpm, peak torque, but I'll need at least drag radials

Am I figuring this correct? 330/138= 2.3 hp per cubic inch. Holy moly if I did math right

I don't know much about ford turbo charging but i do know dodge. In my srt-4 you got a $30 boost controller you plumbed in to your turbo charger with vacuum hoses. You then got a new waste gate actuator to hold the boost level instead of it dropping off. Problem with the srt was it wold boost to 17lbs but sharply drop off to 10-14. That would make 300 hp out of a 240hp rated 2.4 motor. We did all that for $80, then we did a 3 bar map clamp and we could pull 17lbs all the way through. Problem we had was the stock ECU. for safety reasons it killed boost past 17lbs because they had that 10year-70k mile warranty. I have mine turned up to 23lbs and a 50 trim turbo at 440hp, i go threw turbos every year because i didn't install a turbo timer, that and i don't change the oil like i should. i'm a 2800lb car.
IF this had been a rwd car it would be insane. The dam front wheel drive kills everything. Can't get traction to save it's life and the wheel hop is bad, even with solid mounts all around.

That is a lot of stress on that little motor...I wonder how long they will last?

My guess 36,001 miles or 3 years and 1 day.
