Hey everyone, after searching on here I can't find a good shot or info on 15" x 10" wheels. Anyone have some with pics and can tell me the backspacing they have?

EDIT from later post-- I'm looking at an ad online and here are the wheel/tire sizes, can anyone interpret the rear size? This is what's listed in the ad.

    15x10 rear w/ 4.5" BS, and the fronts are 15" x 8".
Rear are 26x10x15 BFG street radials, fronts are 245/75/15 mickey t's

Maybe he meant 260 for the rear?

    thanks!

I posted pics of a 15x10 with 5-5/8" backspacing with 325/50R15 drag radials. They did just touch the leaf springs, and they do stick out right at the edge of the fender lips.

I found the thread the pics were on and they've been deleted. Sorry. You could put a 295/50 tire on there with a 5" backspaced rim and it should fit fine. Or the 325 tire, but you'll be sticking just out past the edge of the fender lip.

Okay well looks like 5-5/8" is too much, and 3-1/8" is too little. How about 4.5"? I'm looking at a set on craigslist and they have 4.5" BS, and the fronts are 15" x 8". Here are the tire sizes, can anyone interpret the rear size? This is what's listed in the ad.

Rear are 26x10x15, fronts are 245/75/15

Maybe 260? They are BFG street radials if that helps...

    Thanks again!

I have 15x10's on the back with 4.5 backspacing. I am running 275/60/15's on the rear. Clears everything on the inside, had a slight rubbing problem on the fender lips. Carefully trimmed an 1/8" off each side and put fresh paint on the cut lips, problem solved. On the front I have 15x8's with 4" backs[ace, running 235/60R15 tires with tones of c;earance so the 245's you want to run should work.

Depending on your tire size and if you want to hammer your seat belt hump a little (easy and unnoticable), you want 5 to 5.25" BS. I run 5" BS with my 325/50-15. For a 275/60-15 with lowered suspension, I would use 5.25". However, unless you run Torque Thrusts or order custom, you wont find 5.25" BS easily. Even 5.0" are that common. Most off the shelf 15X10 wheels only run 3.5", 4.5", 5.5" BS.

You may want to check the tire sizes again. I'm not aware of BFG making either of those tire sizes in a street radial regardless. 26x10x15 is a real tire size though.

FWIW - A Mickey Thompson 26x10x15 is only 26.1" tall and a 245/75/15 (if anyone even makes that size) would be 29.5" tall. I just don't see having the fronts being 3.5" taller than the rear tires...

A 26x10x15 should fit fine with 4.5" BS on a Camaro, but according to MT - they don't recommend this tire on any rim wider than 9". The tire is short and not all that wide.
