I guess it all depends if you are looking for visually correct or not. If not, you're good to go.

The 70 only steering wheel was used on all Camaros. The shrouds were different. As you can see in the posted pictured, the standard shroud has an outer silver raised edge whereas the burled has two silver raised pieces. The emblems, standard bow tie and SS, are mounted with a round stud and a slotted stud. I don’t know if the companies that produce the 70 SS emblems are actually using the 70 style because in the past they were using the 69 SS style and saying that they fit. They are different.

That's looks great! So far what im seeing with the repop wood insert is that inner chrome line isn't raised like it is in the original. Correct me if im wrong?

Yes, it is not raised. Only the real dedicated 70 Camaro guy would notice the difference.

Absolutely, thanks for confirming. I'll be picking one up. Did you just use their 3M backing to stick or did you also apply more glue?

Just used what was on it. Cleaned real good first. Pretty simple
