First off the rear feet don’t have a large hole for the screw, secondly both sides have large edges and finally the forward corners have metal that extends all the way to the end following the contour of the 1/4.

Blue one is assumed to be original to the car? Where’d the black one come from?

The black one is a repop.

OK, my ‘70 was missing its filler panel but I have other OEM panels from various years. I’ll look through them and let you know if any of them match your OEM piece.

First one. 1971 Sport Coupe w/vinyl top. Original to the car...you can see where the vinyl top moulding attachment holes were filled.

Second one. 1978 or 9 Firebird. I pulled this off the car in a wrecking yard 14 years ago. Looks pretty much like the 1971. FC27A2D8-7A35-49CF-8580-9989BCF51F76.jpeg

Third one. A repop I picked up somewhere along the way (from a private individual).

Fourth one. It’s an OEM piece but year is unknown. I am posting it just as another point of comparison. EF07BA42-5674-49FA-8610-59D758F13CE3.jpeg 95FE899A-BDFF-4404-9C87-445511AFF29A.jpeg B82F3F20-BE81-4A91-ACA2-A7C56BA24C58.jpeg

I have at least one other but it is on a car and I’m not ready to pull the back glass yet.

While my four examples are not an exhaustive sample they more or less mimic the repop you have in your possession. None of them look like your blue one. Can you be 100% positive that it is an OEM piece? I ask not to try run you down but rather to get at the truth of your hypothesis that ‘70 has an unique filler panel. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
