I have a relay for the fuel pump in the trunk, and had already drilled a hole. I will probably try to fish the sending unit wire over the top. I actually forgot about it , then once i got the tank in remembered, I think I can get it over the top still.

ordered some dual hose clamps from amazon , not even close to the correct size. I bought full length fuel injection rubber hose a while back from the tanks inc pump to the regulator in the engine bay, to the eventual FiTech. I plan at some point to buy, bend, and flare my own metal lines, I understand what im deviating from by having rubber lines.

did some more sanding, its getting closer...nothing like doing the job 3 times....

it still had a little bit of a divot , so I applied what im hoping to be the last coat of all-Metal

Looks awesome. I have grown to hate bodywork all together. I can't wait to move on to steering and suspension. Keep up the good work.

Yes...not fun. wearing a respirator in a 95 degree garage with 100% is not fun. I envy the "cool" weather up north!! Funny picture too! I wonder how many people know that reference!!

    got a little more done.

was looking at my upper trunk panel, and decided to look for another. Called local camaro guy, to see if he had one, and he did, in good shape. So just decided to replace instead of fix.

worked on Tanks inc install a little too.

    Ordered the correct gas cap.

Not sure if I read it wrong, or if the documentation is wrong on tanks inc, but I thought I read it uses the same gas cap as stock, well my stock tank had a short tab fuel cap. Had to order another, long tab.

Im running russel twist lock connections, and rubber feed and return lines. I wanted the setup to be removable, so I bought a barrier connection, and welded up a small bracket.

I will probably change the location to make this above the frame, I dont like how low it sits.

Looks like a good score. I had to replace mine too. It was rusted in the same area. Can I ask who your "local Camaro guy" is? Just in case I am in search of parts, it is always good to have another source. The only folks that I know of that deal in used classic car parts in Houston area are Camaro Concepts off Blaylock, Camaro Country off C.E. King and South Texas Muscle off 2920 in Spring.
