1970 Lower Dash - Think this can this be restored?

Ok gang, this is the last group of pictures to show what the ultimate goal of restoring that lower dash was to lead up to in my mind. I've probably got between 20-25 hours into this dash all together, including all of my nit-picking alignment. Of course I will have to make minor tweaks when I mount it in the car, but those should be minimal, and final installation shouldn't be much more than plug-n-play.

Great work! The dash assembly looks very nice.
I'll use your ideas to repair the hole someone put where the defrost switch would go if your car came with defrost. My car came from the rocky mountain area. Someone put in a radio frequency booster button there.

I rebuilt my center console on my '70 using a lot of black ABS glue and it turned out pretty darn good, but what you did is simply awesome. Nice job!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the compliments.

I promise not to let this thread just die off...once the dash is installed in the car I will post follow up pictures in this, and my other two parts resto threads.
