Original 1970 (only) Camaro/Firebird driver's side and passenger side seat tracks.
For Sale: Original 1970 (only) Camaro/Firebird passenger side seat tracks. These tracks have the chrome plated plastic knob.
The driver's side tracks are in good condition but probably should be dis-assembled, cleaned, re-greased, and then re-assembled.
Note: There is one missing white nylon guide as shown in photo # 10, however, I have included a bearing/wheel assembly as shown in photo #11 that can be substituted for the 0.8" diameter "wheel" & white nylon guides. Later model seat tracks used the bearing/wheel assemblies instead of the white nylon guides & 0.8" diameter wheel.
$150 for the passenger side seat tracks plus shipping and Paypal fee (if applicable).
If interested or if there are any questions, send me a PM.
Original 1970 (only) Camaro front bumper brackets, GM # 3986571 & GM # 3986572, in good condition.
I have an interest in a set of bumper brackets. Are there any rust pits? or are they clean and smooth?
These 1970 (only) Camaro used original 3986571 & 3986572 "two piece" front brackets are in good useable condition. I cleaned off the surface rust with my wire wheel. There is no serious rust pitting and the brackets are generally "clean and smooth" but probably should be media blasted before the are painted. If you are interested in perfectly "clean and smooth" 3996571 & 3986572 brackets then you should look for some that are N.O.S. which were discontinued in May & July of 1972 and replaced the 3994713 & 3994714 "one piece" brackets. I have a set of the
3994713 & 3994714 "one piece" brackets in my collection for $20 but the RH 3994714 bracket has some pitting which is very noticeable.
I believe that these used original front bumper braces might be GM # 3986507 & GM # 3986508 and possibly might have been issued to "early" 1970 Camaro models. These braces have a 5/8" X 1/2" oval hole at the top end and are otherwise identical to the 3986583 & 3986584 braces which each have a 1/2" oval hole at the top end. Potential buyers should do their own research as my research on these braces is an educated guess.
These braces are in good condition but should be media blasted and re-painted prior to installation. The RH bracket is stamped "WP" (the manufacturer, I assume) as shown in photo #2.
Also included are two original bolts (GM # 3918503) and 2 original nuts (GM # 9418931) as listed in the 1970 Camaro Assembly Manual.
NOTE: My 1970 Camaro Assembly Manual (UPC 14, Sheet A2) as well as 1971-1973 Camaro Assembly Manuals list GM # 3986583 & GM # 3986584 as the part numbers for the front bumper braces, however, my 1965-1973 Chevrolet Parts History manual shows that GM # 3986507 and # 3986508 were replaced by GM # 3986583 and GM # 3986584 in June and July 1970 for service parts (see photo #12). Also, GM # 3986507 & 3986508 and 3986583 & 3986584 do not appear in my 1970 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (printed Jan. 1970).
$75 for the original front bumper braces with the oval holes at the top end plus shipping and Paypal fee (if applicable).
If interested or if there are any questions, send me a PM. I have other original 1970 Camaro and later bumper brackets (front and rear) that I will putting on the Swap Meet Section.
For Sale: Used Original 1970 Camaro/Firebird RH Brake Caliper with casting # 5470126.
Dave put me next in line if the first sale for some reason falls through. Thanks
To other members I’m looking for a set of 1970 front calipers. Thanks
For Sale: Original 1970 Camaro LH Steering Knuckle Spindle with casting numbers "3963991 L3" & "CFD" (see phots #6 & #7) where "CFD" = Central Foundry Detroit. The casting date as shown in photo #3 is not readable. The spindle is in good condition but needs to be media blasted to remove the rust. Some of the casting numbers are hard to see. Included is the large hex slotted nut as shown in photo #12.
The GM part number as listed in my 1970 Chevrolet Parts Catalogs (Jan. 1970 & Oct. 1970) in Gr. 6.020 is 3961275 for 1970 Camaro models. According to Chevrolet Parts History GM # 3961275 was replaced with GM # 3997903 (casting number unknown) in May 1972 for service parts sole "over the counter" which was then replaced by GM # 329349 (casting number unknown) in July 1973.
If interested, send me a PM.
