Great info ! Appreciate the input
Your car does have comfort weave... I did not realize the base interior was basketweave, I had assumed... ass u me that it was leather grained vinyl and the basketweave was the dlx int. I stand corrected.
Can't say I've seen the basket weave before on a 70. Has anybody else? The standard was an embossed vinyl. To my knowledge there were two Z87 Deluxe seats covers, the vinyl Comfort Weave and a Custom cloth both in various colors. Maybe the cloth was the basket weave? It's a fairly rare option from what i can tell.
I think this is comfortweave, right? It is dark green and black interwoven. I have a bolt of it in case I need to cover my front seats.
My car has the '70 CUstom Deluxe dk. green interior. The fabric (nylon) has tiny interwoven black and dk.green squares.
Yeah, the back seat is custom. I had to make room for the sheet metal that covers the upper link. Enough to make a purist shed a tear.
I snapped a few pics of my original 70 seats...
My 70 z28 deluxe interior also had comfort-weave not basket weave.
I have custom cloth.
