    Gary S, my 05B VANUYS RS/SS 350 did not come with F41, but it did have the rear swaybar brackets welded on the rear rails.

    Nothing in the VIN indicates the car has a 350 engine in a 1970 does it?

    The VIN didn't identify engine until 1972, but about 1/2 of the V8 cars built in 1970 had a 350.

    I was talking about the partial VIN on the engine pad matching the VIN on the dash. CNJ or CNK or CRE would be on the engine pad along with the VIN depending on what transmission was originally in the car.

    My 70 RS/SS 350 van nuys has the rear sway bar brackets non F41 brought new by my dad

    c120cut. That makes 3 like that.
    I'm beginning to think that all SS bodies in 1970 got the rear swaybar brackets welded to the frame no matter if they got F41 or not.

    OK, fair enough. That of course assumes is has the "born with" engine.

    Gary, I wonder if that holds true for Norwood cars too or maybe just a Van Nuys thing?

    That's hard to say. We would need information from a lot more cars from both plants to decide if it is true.
