1970 SS L34 Numbers Matching Worth???

    Looks like it might have dropped a valve. Engine turns over 3/4 turn. Not sure how bad the engine damage is.

    looks like a 72-73 grill.
    Looking at the VIN, its a first day build car. 590th off the line! MAYBE the first big block Norwood car, but it would be hard to know for sure.

    Very nice find! Although in my neck of the woods 8-10k would be my tops in that condition. Don't see the "OEM Holy Grail Fan Shroud" in your pics. If you have it get insurance on it cause it could take years to get that correct piece. It's still going to take a chunk of change to make it a 30k plus car. In my opinion, L78's are still not where they should be in value and wouldn't expect L34's to more than those.

    whats this OEM holy grail fan shroud you speak of? I have the fan shroud off my 1970, is it worth anything? Its small block fan shroud.

    definitely not a 70 grill, those larger grill holes were for 72-73 grills.

    tall back seats and that grill seem to point to it being a 72-73 maybe? you got pictures of VIN or plate?
