Realized the fan shroud was worth the extra he is asking, Ha!

Seller needs to be straight up on engine issues. Previous owner said it wouldn't turn over, he pulled valve cover and found one of the valves dropped...could be a bad cylinder as a result???

I think that I have mentioned that my
72 SS-396 came from the same dealership as yours, Mohawk Chevrolet.

Hey Dave, once again thanks for all your help on my car. I know you wanted me to post a little about my car. It is a 70 SS/RS L-34 4-speed just like yours, but yours is beautiful and has A/C. Do not have original motor but just rebuilt a 70 402 for it. Only rust is in B-pillars and quarters. Going to get it running then restore. If the price is right, I would consider selling the fan shroud. Saved it from a 26 year slumber in a garage. Was drag raced in early 90's with a small block, original motor gone for decades but for some reason, kept the shroud!

That shroud is the Holy Grail for these cars Brad, since you are going to restore it I would think twice before selling it as you have a good foundation to start with. Maybe one day I'll take a ride down to see your collection, you can also start a new post on the progress on the car.
