1970 z radiator help

GM 1975 parts book 1.219 has part # 3021301 for a
1970-71/250,307 AND 350 /EXC Z28/ ENG WITH HD RAD OR AC
1970-71/350 /Z28/ ENGINE

My 1970 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Jan. 1970) lists GM # 3021302 (code letter LH) for 70 Camaro w/H.D. Rad. (6 cyl.)(exc. A.T.) and 70 Camaro (307,350)(exc. A.T.).

GM# 3021301 (code letter LG) is listed for 70 Camaro w/A.T., H.D. Rad. (6 cyl.) and 70 Camaro w/A.T. (307,350).

Apparently the 3021300 radiator (code letter "LF") was never sold over the counter.

According to Chevrolet Parts History GM #3021302 was replaced with GM # 3021301 in June 1970. I would think that the 3021302 was still installed on the 1970 production line until the end of the production.

Thx Dave. We've both noticed that production part numbers alot of times doesn't make it to the parts counter as this one didn't.

 

i know this thread is a few years old but I am looking for a 1971 Z28 4-speed radiator - anybody have one? same tank& tag codes as 1970 Z ? thanks in advance...
