Yeah...little things only a trained eye might catch and somebody doing a correct resto of a 70 Z would notice.

Grease zerk on the rear u-joint. Factory U's didn't have the zerk.

Fuel pump MAY have been changed. It has a real hose clamp on the entry hose.

    A few other small things.

I don’t see the lower shifter boot . I can’t imagine it been taken off this car . When did they start using them ?

Edit found they are listed for use in 71&up

I saw a TSB (or what was similar in 1970) on the internet one time that listed "excessive transmission noise" as the complaint and the lower boot was sent to dealers for customers who complained in 1970. I wondered if it wasn't the customers who ordered the M22 who were doing the complaining. Not sure when it was issued. I've tried to find it since and can't seem to come across it. There were several other TSB's but that one stuck out. So I guess for at least 1970 it was a dealer fitted item.

Do you have any pictures of the trunk latch assembly, tail light assembly- i.e. the tail panel viewed from the trunk side.

Also looking for a rear wire harness details.

I am trying to replicate splatter in this area. Thanks.
