1970 z28 correct fuel lines

    I thought he was talking about the 5/16 fuel line rather than the inlet. So yes it’s black.

    FWIW the link in post 2 still seems to be good after 4 years and look like the correct fittings.

    Reviving this thread a bit. Is the "Y" block a natural brass or has it been zinc plated with a black chromate conversion?

    Dave - From what I understand, either bare brass or blackened finish would be acceptable as correct.

    My Y block has a black finish on it. Here's mine compared to a new one.

    Is it possible the brass on the y-block is oxidized with age and that is why it looks black? Just a thought.

    Could be Tommy. My CG Z28 had a blacken Y block too. I replaced it with the brass version due to it having a hole tapped in it and plugged for some reason. I'm guessing fuel pressure gauge.

    Just pointing out....
    The pump to brass block line will just about go in UPSIDE DOWN. But the fit is obviously a little off....very embarassing....but try flipping it
