1970 Z28 engine questions

    That's a mid 70's to ~mid 80's "Bowtie" over the counter replacement intake for the factory LT-1 and 67-69 Z28's. The squared off flanges on the intake runners where they meet the heads are an easy visual clue. Performance-wise, it's really identical to an original LT-1 piece. they are a pretty easy find and worth 50-100 bucks.[/QUOTE]

    Cheapest 14044836 on ebay now is $198, one did sell recently for $147.50.

    Early morning in the shop. Better than a therapist. It’s a shame I lost ink stamps on float bowls to solvent. Probably never rebuilt before...

    For my first attempt solo I’m confident it’s going to run and look forward to firing her up later today.

    I usually check completed sales for some idea of the real value of stuff.
