Pretty handy tip cleaners.
That's a mid 70's to ~mid 80's "Bowtie" over the counter replacement intake for the factory LT-1 and 67-69 Z28's. The squared off flanges on the intake runners where they meet the heads are an easy visual clue. Performance-wise, it's really identical to an original LT-1 piece. they are a pretty easy find and worth 50-100 bucks.[/QUOTE]
Cheapest 14044836 on ebay now is $198, one did sell recently for $147.50.

I based my price on seeing one on the local CL for 75.
I wasn't doubting your statement. Just letting the original poster know he might do better
selling on Ebay.
What is this? Different part number?
What the diff you say. 6261814 is for a 1972 Z28 and not a 1970. 3980982 was used on the 1970 Z28, 396, 396/375 and 1971 Z28.
Good answer! Is that what I can expect to pay for one?
Early morning in the shop. Better than a therapist. It’s a shame I lost ink stamps on float bowls to solvent. Probably never rebuilt before...
For my first attempt solo I’m confident it’s going to run and look forward to firing her up later today.
I dought it. I think there's a lot of dreamers on eBay having wet dreams in technicolor.
I usually check completed sales for some idea of the real value of stuff.
