Can someone tell/show me what color is correct for the windshield squirters and where they mount? Thanks
Original color... I don't know. (Zinc plated, maybe?) I'm pretty sure they are in the same location for all 2nd gens. They poke through the little slots at the rear of the hood. (The end one on the driver's side and the 7th slot from the passenger side.) There are two screw holes in the bottom of the hood where the clips (attached to the nozzles) are screwed in place. Next to the screw holes, there are little index holes, that tabs on the clips fit into, to keep them from wiggling around the single screw.
Thanks again! My have been painted silver. What's your thoughts if I took lacquer thinner and removed the silver? Do you think the factory finish would stil;l be there?
