after weeks and weeks working on customer cars i finally got some time on the Camaro. the left rear suspension is all roughed in. the mounts are made and tacked in place. i have the right rail in place now and will be setting up the rear diff to finish off the rear suspension this weekend. planning on having the entire suspension and diff installed this weekend then i will be able to begin the process of mounting the body back on the frame. More to come!!
It has been way to long since my last update but rotted out upstate NY vehicles have kept me very busy. I ordered a new driveshaft to fit the chassis (since the motor is back so far). Shout out to The Driveshaft Shop for making an amazing carbon fiber driveshaft for me. That allowed me to make sure the the driveline was truly center lined in the chassis and get the rear diff in and start building all the mounts for that. hopefully i can get some time this weekend and can trim off the rear rails and start getting them set up for the fuel cell. almost to the point where i can finish weld the frame and get the body back on which will be a huge milestone.
Got some time in the garage this weekend and was able to start finish welding the rear suspension and frame rails.
