First off i'm no Camaro expert. However I do know what the guy I got it from told me and from info I have been able to find out since. My 1971 Camaro was originally purchased in Bakersfield, CA in 1971 and has lived its entire life in Central California. As far as I have been told it is a matching numbers car. It is cuurently Blue with white stripes, even though the trim tag had it original with Cranberry Red and a Black Vinyl top. It does have the original RS split bumper with original front end and is easily verified. It also has many RS features such as the hidden wipers, etc... Below is some of the current information I have on this car: - 355 4 Bolt 350 Bored over .30 to 355 - Steel forged crank - GM pink rods - 202 cast heads - Performer CAM - Double roller chain - RPM airgap intake - MSD Pro2 ignition - Holley 650 Street Avenger Carb Ultra Machined Aluminum 15" Rims - Concorde tires P225/60R15 95S (Front) - Cooper Cobra tires P225/60R15 M+S (Rear) - B&M Console Automatic Mega Shifter - Auto Gage RPM Meter 6k RPM set -Edelbrock air filter and valve covers Paint is probably a 6 out of 10 and the interior is probably 7 out of 10. New headliner so far. At this point i'm really trying to get a feel for what a serious collector or enthusiest would be willing to pay for this. I know the average price seems to be around $20-35k depending on the condition and the eagerness to have a nice camaro. Let me know what you think. I can email better and bigger pictures. The site doesn't allow for much size and detail. Thaks.
