My 72 was converted from automatic to manual (T10) before I purchased it. I have located the connector with the wires for neutral safety and backup switch (and a orange and a white wire that I do not know what they do).
NSS = Purple and Purple-White stripe
Backup = Pink and Green
??? = Orange and White

MAIN QUESTION:
Is there a harness pigtail that connects to this connector that splits these out to their individual locations? I've search Autowire and M&H but not finding it.

For NSS:
At this time, it has the NSS jumped (purple to purple-white stripe). I think this would be pretty straight forward if there is a pigtail. Just need to get the switch and mount for the clutch pedal. I could always just make a couple of jumpers but would prefer to have factory style connectors.

For backup lights:
There is no backdrive installed and no switch on the column for backup lights (pink and green wires). It is a T10 trans and I am having a helluva time finding all the backdrive mechanism. I think because with the T10 in later models it had the odd push down shifter assembly?? I guess I could just go with something like this: https://www.holley.com/products/dri...accessories/shifter_accessories/parts/2480003 I would just make a couple of jumpers and call it a day. But it would be cool to install the stock style set up.

White and Orange Wires:
What do these go to??

Thanks.

Nope. Thought that too but brake lights are currently connected and come from a dedicated plug off the main harness.
Put your question to Bing and it said it was used for a light in the back of the console for automatic and had a seperate pigtail that plug into that harness for those wires? Again don't know for sure hope this helps!!!!

Wow. Bing, huh? I googled this to death and didn’t find that or the pigtails that split it up.

If these are for shift console lights (gotta check the wiring diagram again), I won’t need it for my MT. Would really like to nail down the pigtail / harness extension for the NSS and back up light switch.
