    Hello NastyZ28!
I recently traded off my 1986 Camaro Z28 for this 1973 RS (Dec. 10/11)
    A little about the Camaro..
It was bought here in Canada in 1973, original owner died in '77 where it was then stored for 30yrs until 2007 then it was sold off to 3 different owners which non had touched the car, except to do a bondo-over-rust body job...
The car has 68,000 miles on it..
This is what i figure the car has on it for options: (May or may not be correct as I dont have a buid sheet)
    1FQ87 Camaro Sport Coupe, 8-cylinder
    AK1 Belts, color keyed
    B84 Body side molding
    C24 Hideaway wipers
    C50 Rear window defroster
    C60 Air conditioning
    D35 Sport mirrors
    D55 Center floor console
F41 Performance suspension (included with Z28)
J50 Power brakes (included with Z28)
    L65 Engine 350-145hp 2bbl V8

    U80 Rear seat speaker
    ZJ7 Rally wheel 14x7

    Orignal colour is 64/64 silver

Don't be fooled by what appears to be rust free rear quarters! Bondo hides EVERYTHING

Looks like the fun has already begun, great winter project.
(does the underdash fm radio converter work? would you consider selling it? I've been looking for one of those locally for the last year or so)
Good luck in the new year.

Not 100% sure if it works or not, never tried it..I probably would consider selling it as I probably won't be having any kind of audio equipment in the car..might leave the 8-track in for some added nostalgia.

Welcome to the board. Nice too see another 2nd gen being rescued. Did you purchase that off of Kijiji. I saw one identicle to that with a bunch of extra floor parts etc. We have alot of swap meets here in southwestern Ontario to find parts and a few guys that have tonnes of parts to help with the resto.. Have fun...

Yeah this one was from kijiji and that probably sounds like the one! (I think his original asking price was $5200 or something...) I got the trunk pan, frame rails, roof, floor and firewall, tail light panel, lower valance, and a few other pieces with the car
I'm looking forward to the Ancaster swap meet..usually have a few good finds there
