1974 Tail Light Seals

    Its like a thin piece of foam tape by the looks of it

    Heres the passenger side. It may even be like a tar paper type tape.
    Its totally separate from the gasket around the tail light.

    No its stuck to the body at the upper tail light opening area. I guess thats the best way to describe it. If the tail light was removed you would have an opening.
    This tape is stuck to the upper part of the tail panel. That make sense?? Its not stuck at all to the tail light like it appears in the assembly manual.

    Basically it’s just the seal so the water does not run down the tail light
