what a excellent photo archive ,very nice survivor .brings back fond memories when new.was not a fan of big bumpers. but the government made em do it! a guy i knew back then bought a lt brand new blue with black interior was going over to his insurance agents with money for such and had one of his buddies with him and was flogging on it through some corners lost it and flipped it over into a flooded creek upside down, both were injured. i ended up putting a complete used roof section on and straightened as many panels possible front sub was realigned different hood ,fenders upper and lower nose panels.the adjuster that looked at it after he wrecked it said it was totaled. but it got back on the road. talk about a oopsy moment!

Dang! I guess we all know someone who totaled a car out like that on the First drive. Or at least the first week. Too young and Dumb. Some did not survive.

The z28 decal on the '74 was an extra cost option as was the spoiler. This baby has neither and I have to admit it looks sharp.

Very nice! I think I'd add a console though but that;s just me. Never liked the F-Body's without the console.

Not my preference either, acutally, but I'll wager that won't happen to an under 1000 mile original car. :D

Charlie, If you still have the car, could you measure the width of the of smog hose clamps at the bands? Would like to see if they are 7/16" or 1/2"
