Anyone interested in restoring a true 1977 Camaro Rally Sport? Thinking about selling mine... but won't let it go for less than $8,000 if I do. I am very firm on the price! This is an original Matte Black on Antique White car. Currently it is primered in black & white as seen in the photos. The primer is on top of about three layers of paint from previous owners. The car is practically 99% complete. What parts are physically off the car, I have on a shelf in the garage. Even have the parts (minus the transmission, shifter, & center console) to convert this to a manual transmission car if wanted. Original 305 replaced with a GM Performance Parts Vortec 350. Holley 670cfm Street Avenger carb. Edelbrock intake Hedman headers. Flowmaster exhaust. TH350 automatic transmission. Heavy duty drive shaft built by Denny's Driveshafts. Runs and drives great!!! Brand new 225/70R15 BF Goodrich T/A tires on Z28 wheels. WS6 front and rear sway bars (off a Trans Am) Edelbrock IAS shocks New Z28 rear leaf springs installed a few years ago. Heat works... A/C does not as the A/C pump is off the car. Even the original radio works. Comes with many other parts! All it really needs is body work and paint job, and new windshield. I did plan to rebuild the front end, even though it does not really need it, but some of the bushings are showing their age, so I also have brand new front end rebuild kit that is included with the sale. Also new front brake rotors & pads, and wheel/hub bearings. Very minimal rust on the body. Frame rails are solid if you're curious. I've owned the car for 15 years. Been a central GA car most its life and where I bought it... then it spent a few years in North Carolina where I was transferred to while in the military, and has now been in Maryland with me for the last 7 years. Always garage kept since I've owned it. This is a great candidate for restoration. Only about 17,000 Rally Sports were made in 1977 out of almost 219,000 Camaros made that year. My first 2nd gen was the same exterior color. A 1975 RS, with a tan interior. Nice car for the $$$. If I was in the market I`d be a player. Good luck!
