Was at a local wreckers today Saw this one , nothing in engine or trans But rear end still there ... I managed to get The charcoal cannister off it Was power lumbar an option ??? Pic of the charcoal cannister
I couldn't even tell if it was a z or not Maybe a RS ? But the seats looked like they came with The car ... Interior matches
our local scrap yards are bare of these cars now. sure am glad i was looking for parts 10 to 15 years ago when they were still plentiful and cheap. i am surprised you would see that in the toronto area. good find though.
Friend of mine works there and knows to call when a 2 gen Comes in Came in as a shell and nothing has been taken Why is there 2 dots in the trim plate ?
Not an RS. 77 model RS's had two different paint codes for the upper and lower body color. From the trim tag you posted, it's a Norwood built Type LT Originally painted buckskin metallic with custom cloth buckskin interior, built the 5th week of March.
Bolts are correct to attach the trim tag. Rivets were used only from 1970 through mid 1973. Starting during the 1973 production, Chevy switched to bolts so they are right on a '77 model.
