1977 ?

    I will tell you that the plate on my 77 is and was riveted. I am the original owner.

    My 1977 Camaro was pretty much a 2 owner virgin with a massive paper trail, this is a pic of the trim tag with bolts

    You are most likely correct. I have had the car since new and now remember a very long time ago for some reason the trim tag came loose. It may very well have been bolted down but I replaced them with rivets. Wish I knew then what I know now. The car is about 95% original other than paint. Interior is OE but I had to replace the headliner as the foam deteriorated and it fell down. I have all the original documents including the build sheet and the window sticker. I also have the dealer delivery documents.
