I am new to this forum,I am looking for some information about Mr gaskets 1979 aero camaro. I came across this car a couple of weeks ago and bought it. I have been doing somerresearch and found out they made some clones. Does any know the vin or how to tell it is the original?

Hot Rod put out a special magazine on the building of the car back in the early 80's. I have a copy that I bought back then. It was called How to Build a Street Machine. You might be able to find a copy on ebay. Post some pics if you can.

Hot Rod November 1984 was the issue. I'm looking at it now, as it was sort of the inspiration for my Camaro. Give me a day or two and I'll scan it in for you.

The November 1984 issue contains the 4th and last part in a series of articles about the car.
    Never heard they made clones.

Some key features on the magazine car:
    • Interior stripes going over the seats, continuing back to (and on) the package shelf.
    • 160mph speedo.
    • Custom front speaker bracket (to fit dual speakers).
    • Lingenfelter 383

I loved that car and remember it being at Super Chevy in Indy several years ago. What kind of condition is it in now?
