What’s up guys,

So I have good speakers in my 79 maro, but for some reason, I can’t have the bass very high because it makes a sort of rattling sound. I believe that it’s the metal casing that the speakers are in (right below the rear windshield), and was just wondering if anyone knew a fix to this or if it was maybe the speakers themselves? Even when the bass is low, it still seems to rattle which is kind of aggrivating. Thanks boys.

Check the bumper jack if it is still in place under the rear package shelf. There are a lot of ways for it to rattle. If it's not the jack it could be a small bolt held in by a clip, that is there to secure the jack.

Yeah I don’t have a jack cause I don’t have a spare tire so that wouldn’t be it. Still not sure what it is .
