1979 z28 seems overpriced

    I found this 1979 z28 4 speed. It runs, don't know if it drives. But the guy wants $5000 for it. That seems a bit overpriced to me, my gut says $2000-$2500, but i'm not sure. Let me know what you think.

    The third gen ground effects are worth something....

    Really.... That is some of the worst tin worm damage I've seen on a late 2nd gen. :eek:
    I can't imagine the frame rails or floor pans are solid either.

    I would rate that one as a parts and VIN donor.
    If the seller is firm on $5K... Walk away.

    I’d say walk away. Lots of second gens out there for less or better shape.

    The interior looks like something from Tales of the Crypt. Too bad it is so Swiss cheesed.

    I think you could maybe get $1000 of worthwhile parts out of it.

    A tetanus shot would be an absolute necessity before touching it.

    Are those snail tracks all over the paint.

    Poor thing sat in a damp place for a LONG time.
