interestig to see the comments on the article, saying basically that since its a berlinetta it does not derserve to exist , girly car etc... lol Now you wonder why every dude with a LT or Berlinetta out of peer pressure has slapped Z28 hoods, fenders and wheel skirts on theirs... lol

That said asking for a go fund me to repaint your car is quite intellectually lazy, entitled and very loser...

Id just pay a visit to the people that got caught doing it, but only once the dust has settled and their level of vigilance had dropped.

Yeah... the comments.

I think almost all of that paint could be buffed off.
Areas where it may have covered those silly factory pin stripes may be difficult to correct.

My 80 Berlinetta no longer has the pin stripes or the original 6 cylinder.
(The engine was junk when I bought it and the pin stripes had been rattle canned by a previous owner. )

They make a great project car to build however you like, IMO.

Not to trying to sound like a jerk but all this Go Fund Me bull crap gets on my last nerve GO FUND YOURSELF. I work weekends for over time to get my car money. Work hard for it. Don't ask someone you don't even know to give it to you. Thats called begging where I come from.

Why is it outside? There's a train a locked garage is a requirement for most classic carriers. I assume he didn't have good insurance.

I always liked the clean look of my 78 LT, spoiler delete. It was my first car I bought for $3K with my grocery bagging paychecks. It caught fire while I was driving it and all I could do was pull over and get out. Total loss. I really had been looking for a similar one for years when I came across the Z28 I have now. Looked very similar to this, complete with the rally steel wheels and whitewalls when I bought it. A set of 70 series Cooper Cobras was about my only upgrade in the year I had it. It had the 305 2 bbl and was slower than molasses uphill in winter. I got outrun by a 4-cyl Mazda pickup. But I still loved it and wanted to make something of it.
