Just wondering if anyone can tell me how many 4 speed t-top Z28's were made in 1980? are they more rare to have a manual 4 speed t-top as opposed to 4 speed hard top?

Nobody knows because Chevy didn't keep track of every option combination that went into each car.
About 1 of 6 Camaros in 1980 had T tops, so it would be fairly safe to assume that there were more non-T top Z28s than T top Z28s.

It really doesn't matter because different people want different options, so "rare" isn't worth as much as a cup of coffee.

I don't know how many there were... but I sure as heck wish I never sold mine... it had the t-top/4spd combo. I kick myself in the A double S everytime I see a second gen Z. I've never seen one in my color combo either. It was all original and I even had the build sheet. I feel like a [email protected]$$ for selling that car.

i didn't think they kept track of them, i was just told by someone they were more rare because of the combo (t-top 4 speed), he said most t-tops were auto and 4 speeds with hard tops. So i thought where better place to ask.

Thats is one beautiful ride

There was a rusted all away around the bottom rockers 80 Z28 white and /blue and minor rust everywhere poped out and run hard and put up wet for sale a few miles from my house last summer. Nothing anywhere close this nice ,but it was a fourspeed ,no t-top and it sold after sitting ONE DAY 4375.00 ...it needed a ton of body work and most of a new interior to make it presentable. .

I almost went for your color but it was a very hard decision when I ordered my 80 Z28 after selling my 77 Z28 and 78 Z28. I just wish all the colors were sitting on the dealers lot to choose a color. So I ordered red orange all 4-spds but never a T top. I didn't want to weakin the structure having a T top. I've heard of guys bending the body while jacking up the car only on 1 side.

    Wish I kept my 77 and 78.
