the bumpers in the door jamb were installed in t top cars. being a subframe car and with t tops weakened the car and these kinda kept the door gaps in check. its also has the wrong dash bezel for a 81 model. this was the first year for the computer that was mounted in the front of the console. hence the 1981 model did not get a map pocket in the console. the cluster also had a check engine light between the tach and speedo. its missing on this car. for 100k i will build you a trailer queen. lol

It's a Canadian car, no CCC. So no CEL.

Interesting when people say the car sold for too much.

The production of those cars has stopped over 40 years ago, lots of now wealthy people grown up with pictures of those cars on their bedroom walls of school lockers.

Money , too much or too little of it is also a very relative idea. Most of us are spending/investing/wasting, depending on who you ask... A lot of time, money and even get complicated situations for the sake of living our passion for vintage iron.

100k for a very clean second gen I can totally understand it, not because its a great investment...Because some fairly sensible person analysed the time and money it would take to find, gather parts, rebuilt, restore, re-upholster, and repaint the dream car of his or her childhood ... 100K is not expensive.

Some people think the same for 1 million of an old mopar, a 20 million Alfa Romeo, or 50 million Ferrari...

Everything is relative...Some people have the time... other have the money

Peter.
