    Thanks

This generally will not fit with a 15" wheel without some grinding (at best).

The grinding would be to the calipers?

I have read that 5 spoke Z28 wheels will clear the B-body spindle 1LE swap. I bought everything to do it based on that but haven't had time to perform the swap.

On my car - the factory 5-spoke rallys would not clear the 1LE setup. I believe the late 70's Corvette 15x8" slot mags will

In general - almost all 15" tires suck now, if you want to improve braking getting a modern set of wheels/tires will make more difference than anything

I ran 15" z28 steels no problem. No alterations at all

Aluminum 15" N90s do not fit.

I agree, if you feel you need a brake upgrade, tires are probably on the list too. In fact, the 1LE not fitting in my turbines is what led to my 17” wheels. Then I just opted for the 13” C5

with the iron caliper they should fit most steel 15" wheel, they fit my Pontiac WS6 15x8 aluminum wheels, I have no experience with the Camaro but Bonzo said they didn't fit with the N90, what wheel are you trying to use?

    Another factor is balancing weights.
If the wheels are balanced with stick-on weights inside the rim rather than at the inner and outer edges... They will limit caliper clearance.

Aluminum wheel castings are a bit thicker than steel wheels and the internal diameter (where the calipers sit) will be smaller.

I had to remove wheel weights, hammer them flatter and reattach them in order to clear factory 14" N90 wheels with stock calipers.
