Here we go--the 2013 EXPANDED Norwood reunion/gathering will happen on July 12-13 2013 at the old GM plant site in Norwood, Ohio. The Host Hotel has plenty of rooms now at a special rate.

Meet with the people who built your car! :bowtie:

Friday July 12 Meet and Greet at the Hotel-display of cars all day.
Friday evening welcome meeting for invited participants and panel discussion with Norwood plant Managers, supervisors and assembly line personnel.

Saturday July 13 Reunion and Gathering of the Norwood Built cars at the GM covered parking deck.
Saturday Evening Cruise in at the old plant outdoor GM salary personnel Parking lot - hosted by Larosa's. This will be an open public event.

If you are interested in attending the Reunion/Gathering with your Norwood built car to display-- PM me here or send an E-mail to the address listed on the book website. To cover the costs of the event there will be a nominal fee for each car registered.

Update,,,The #2 VIN Norwood built PILOT will be attending...the personnel who built it are looking forward to seeing it again.

The Movie for Friday night is a Second Generation must see!!

I would like that too but with many cars already restored the matter of having a restored car viewed by the real judges (the makers) can make some individual owners or sites a bit uncomfortable with the concept of entering an area where you are removed from your "comfort zone". When you are forced to question what you are comfortable with meaning what you think you know vs the reality of what really happened on the assembly line. Once consensus is achieved (even if the topic agreed on is 100% wrong in its conclusions) it is a tall climb to shift the paradigm.

An example: To this date there is zero support from the CRG for the event-despite the stated #1 goal of the CRG being to research this very topic:

Yes they are. That is why 2nd generation judging is well served by you.

For those who may notice, Mike is a primary 2nd generation show Judge and has attended each reunion held at Norwood.

The first hand information that he gains from the retirees is then transferred to the Camaro judging process - likely making his skill set and the knowledge base of the team he leads - the best in the hobby.
